Eaton Poland achieves Investor in Human Capital award for second year in a row !

Date: 05/11/2013

For the second year in a row Eaton has been recognized as an Investor in Human Capital, one of Poland’s most prestigious employer awards. The scheme, which has been running for 12 years, is sponsored by the Polish Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and assessment is conducted by the Management Observatory Foundation. Companies who successfully participate in this award scheme demonstrate high quality working standards and HR practices that have been independently audited and verified. Just 23 companies across Poland have achieved the coveted Investor in Human Capital award, including Eaton.

All Eaton locations in Poland participated in this initiative to promote Eaton as an employer of choice and to increase awareness of the Eaton brand in Poland. The HR teams at the following sites and offices were responsible for coordinating our successful participation:

  • Eaton Automotive Systems, Bielsko-Biala
  • Eaton Automotive Components, Tczew
  • Eaton Truck Components, Tczew
  • Eaton Electrical, Gdansk and Warsaw

The two-part assessment process consisted of an audit of HR processes followed by an employee survey. First, external auditors assessed Eaton’s HR processes and tools in four main categories: Role of HR, Motivation and Engagement, Competencies and Development, and Health and Wellness. Then, the employee survey verified the satisfaction level of employees within the above categories. More than 20% of Eaton employees in Poland took part in this survey.

Securing this award for a second year proves the consistency of our high quality working standards and HR practices. As an Investor in Human Capital, Eaton is permitted to display the distinctive logo which sends a clear message to current and potential employees that Eaton is a high quality employer that implements best practice HR processes. This will greatly enhance our efforts to attract and recruit the best people to Eaton in the future.
